Founder's Statement
Anubha Srivastava is the founder of "A S Legal Works" in Bangalore. She has over 25 years broad spectrum of experience in legal advisory and litigation.
Having studied and enrolled in Delhi, she is presently enrolled with the Bar Council of Karnataka.
She has successfully represented matters across jurisdictions including the various courts of Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Experienced in handling matters of family and criminal law, along with commercial and intellectual property disputes.
PRACTICE AREAS
Family Law
A major area of practice for us is Family Law. We provide consultation on the rights of individuals and also have extensive experience in litigation under various statutes for restitution of conjugal rights, judicial separation, divorce including through mutual consent, maintenance and various declarations, guardianship, appointment of guardian, enforcement of visitation rights, custody etc. The firm regularly appears before the Family Courts, High Courts, Supreme Court under inter alia, the Hindu Law, Christian Laws, Mohammedan Law, Special Marriage Act as well as the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.
Start-up advisory
We provide legal advice and support to entrepreneurs, startups and early stage businesses. All kinds of contracts needed to start their business including services for IPR protection and legal compliance advisory is provided. We engage in drafting tailor-made clauses to suit the requirement of early start-ups so as to safeguard such entities from risks that may arise as a part of the agreement. We also advise and draft or vet agreements between vendors or investors and start-ups.
Dispute Resolution
Having certification in mediation and counselling we provide clients advice and help in resolving their disputes through alternative methods like negotiation, mediation and arbitration. We have dealt in resolving employment matters, family matters, property cases as well as corporate disputes.
Real Estate
We offer complete range of legal services in real estate including documentation to registration of commercial leases and licenses, residential leases, licenses, conveyancing, property management and maintenance contracts, mortgages and other debt security documents.
Criminal Law
Armed with in depth legal acumen and incisive knowledge of the nuances of criminal law, we appear in all courts from the magisterial courts, Sessions courts, High Courts to the Supreme Court. In addition to IPC cases we have good experience in POCSO cases, Negotiable Instruments cases and Domestic violence matters.
Corporate and Consumer laws
We advise on corporate laws especially insolvency cases and POSH trainings in the offices. We have been active in consumer law practice too in Bangalore.
